Synopsis:
"Nritya Sudha " is a presentation of Indian Classical Dance forms respectively : -
KATHAKALI , MOHINIYATTAM & BHARATANATYAM Thematically, it upholds the essence of these dance forms, adhering strictly with the aesthetic appeal & technical proficiency. ''Natya Shashtra'' emphasizes on Abhinaya at both levels: internal (swatvikam) & external (aharyam).
 
"Nritya Sudha '' unites aesthetics of these dance forms through traditional compositions with a contemporary outlook. The production is an attempt to portray the uniqueness of the Classical Dance forms even without the use of traditional and elaborate costumes, especially regarding Kathakali , here technique overpowers costume.
 
It showcases beauty with boldness, grace with vigour. This is a humble attempt to nourish & nurture & shower eternal bliss on humanity through union of the vigorous aspects of Kathakali & Bharatanatyam with the feminine grace & lucidity of Mohiniyattam.

"SHAKTI RUPENA"

Synopsis:
Devi is synonymous with Shakti, the female aspect of the divine, as conceptualized by the Shakta tradition of Hinduism. She is the female counterpart without whom the male aspect, which represents consciousness or discrimination, remains void. Devi is, quintessentially, the core form of every Hindu Goddess. As the female manifestation of the supreme lord, she is also called Prakriti or Maya.
 
Shakti, Supreme Power has been visualized in the form of WOMANHOOD : Adya Shakti Mahamaya in Indian Puran & Chandi. She appears in various forms to rescue humanity from distress. Asuras reappear in various new forms every time & Ma Shakti destroys evil only to restore peace. Indian tradition is a celebration of Power bestowed in worshipping Feminity with dignity, love & respect.

"REBEL WOMEN OF INDIA"

The Dance-drama is a rare production choreographed on English Narration and music using Bharatanatyam Dance form.

Synopsis:
Down the ages history has provided us with the glorious examples of the Rebel Women of India. Women who had the courage of their convictions.This is a humble attempt to portray the inner turmoil of the self which helps to enlighten the immense potentialities within. In this case, five (Maitreyi , Rizya Sulan , Rani Laxmi bai of Jhansi, Meera Bai and Sister Nibedita ) important women figures have been selected.
 
The dance-drama "Rebel women of India" illustrates the fight of women from the Vedic Age to the Modern times.To stand on their feet and be free! Physical Freedom , Mental Freedom and Spiritual Freedom are the watch words of the Upanishad according to none other than Swami Vivekananda.

"CHITRANGADA"

Dance-drama Chitrangada presented in three classical dance styles:-
Bharatanatyam (Kurupa-Chitrangada & Friends)
Mohiniyattam(Surupa-Chitrangada)
Kathakali(Arjun & Madan)
 
Synopsis:
Kabi Guru Rabindranath Tagore's dramatized version of an episode from the great Indian Epic Mahabharata rendezvous of ARJUN & CHITRANGADA forms the under lining thread of this dance-drama. Tagore symbolizes Chitrangada-Kurupa's character with the rough & rigid summer season while Surupa the graceful one, with the placidity of rains. One day, she meets Arjuna and seeing him in action as he hunts in the forest, she falls in love with him. Arjuna is impressed by her fighting abilities but all along believes her to be a man. Chitrangada falls madly in love with Arjuna but believes he could never love her the way she is. She receives a boon from Madan , theGod of Love whose boons transforms her into a beautiful ladylike woman. When she meets Arjuna again, he can't help but fall in love with her. Arjun momentarily is carried away by the physical charm & beauty of Surupa . Arjun the great Kshetriya hears about the valour & courage of Chitrangada-Kurupa from her subjects & is eager to unite with a lady of his equal rank. Ultimately, Arjun realizes Kurupa–Surupa is Chitrangada herself & not two different entities .
Hence, their royal union glorifies beauty which is not merely physical but it is an amalgamation of knowledge, power & grace which is the source of inner strength .
 
 
"BIDAY ABHISHAP"

Synopsis:
Kabyo- Nritayan , Dance with the dramatic dialogues in verse is an experimental effort to combine Dance technique of Kathakali with the composition of Kabi Guru Rabindranath Tagore's Biday Abhishap. 
Devayani was the beautiful daughter of Shukracahrya, preceptor to the Asuras, the demons. Shukracharya knew the secret of Mritasanjibani that brings back to life the Asuras, killed in the war with the gods, the devas. The devas also wanted to know the secret of Mritasanjibani. So they sent Kacha, the handsome son of Brihaspati, preceptor to the Devas, to fall in love with Devayani. This is the story of Kacha and Devayani and how the devas learnt the secret of Mritasanjibani.

Synopsis:
The dramatic dialogues in verse highlights the dilemma of relationships. It speaks of the tragic outcome of pre-marital relations which leads to a cathartic outburst. This is a vital episode from the great Indian Epic Mahabharata where Rani Kunti visit her first son Karno pleading him to support the Pandavas in the battle of Kurukshetra.

"SPARSHO"
RABINDRA SAHITYE PREM

Unique blend of Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam to suit the melody of the songs.

Synopsis:
Tagore's collection of poems and songs constitute the primary locus or an "atomic world" ("anubishwa") of the poet's lyrical ouevres and their leitmotif is love. The object of Tagore's love poems is not a concrete identifiable individual but an indefinite fluid entity. Rabindranath's idealized woman is no mere abstraction even though she is a product of his creative genius. Thus his manasi is a mix of sensuous experience as well as poetic imagination which glides through various levels from Nature to humanity and with final surrender to divinity.
